Fully funded PhD studentships in AI
We are currently accepting applications for two 3.5-year PhD studentships, with supervision from LoVE academics. Applications are open to both home and international candidates, with a deadline of 30th April 2025. The two projects are:
- Predicting the future of heart health: data-economic deep learning for the prediction of acute coronary syndromes from cardiac CT images (Dr James Brown – Director of Studies, Wenting Duan – Second Supervisor)
- Machine Learning for Changing Environments: Using covariate shift to detect and address concept shift in continual learning settings (Dr Petra Bosilj – Second Supervisor)
These projects are among five currently offered by the University of Lincoln through its ENACT Doctoral Landscape Award (EPSRC reference: EP/Z535242/1). A DLA studentship provides all PhD tuition fees paid at UK rates, a tax-free stipend at EPSRC rates, and a generous research training support grant.
