Data Scientist – KTP Associate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to work as the KTP Associate on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between the Laboratory of Vision Engineering (LoVE) at the School of Computer Science, College of Science and the School of Sports and Exercise Science, College of Social Sciences at the University of Lincoln and MSK Doctors, an independent private medical clinic in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, specialising in the management of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
This KTP project aims to develop a digital platform (MSK Digital) that will apply cutting-edge technology in computer vision, machine/deep learning for musculoskeletal conditions assessment, management, and treatment. Algorithms will be developed for automatic medical image interpretation and motion analysis, which includes a 3D motion mesh reconstruction with standard camera capture, MRI image analysis with cartilage lesion detection, 3D cartilage and meniscus reconstruction and volume calculation.
